30 Days Giveaway - Wood Inlay Earrings Day 10

Day 10's Giveaway: Wood Inlay Earrings from Sheilah and Bob of SSheilah
Here is a bit about the Desert Ironwood in these earrings, from SSheilah's site:
Desert Ironwood is one of the rarest and most beautiful hardwoods in North America. Desert ironwood is similar to cats-eye stone in its translucency and has a lovely, intricate grain. The nickel-silver pattern in the jewelry is hand-inlaid into the ironwood.
And this is a bit about the metal:
Much of our jewelry is made with nickel-silver, an alloy of nickel, zinc and copper that has a deep sheen and polishes to a high gleam. We also use several composite minerals, such as malachite, red jasper and onyx.
Judging by their website, SSheilah really has quite an online presence, as you can see if you read this preview post. Here are just a few of my favourite items from their Etsy shop:

I was lucky enough to talk with Sheilah from SSheilah, and found out that she also loves one of my favourite movies:
1) How does your art practice fit into your life?
Sometimes seamlessly, sometimes it's a struggle. There never seem to be enough hours in the day for all I want to do!
2) Where does everything come together?
On the kitchen table. On the living room floor. In the bedroom closet. Someday I'd love to have a real studio...
3) Do you have any specific goals for your Etsy site or art practice?
I'm not very goal-oriented. I always want to be better, and daily practice is the only way I know to get there.
4) What would be your super power if you could have one?
Tough question! No super power is going to help me prevent cruelty or encourage peace, so maybe I'd just like to be able to fly like Superman!
5) Recommend a good book and movie
Book: Sunshine, by Robin McKinley - my current all-time favorite
Movie: Howl's Moving Castle by Hayao Miyazaki
6) Where do you live in the world? What do you like most about it?
We're in Wyoming - wonderful, challenging, beautiful, remote - with such a variety of landscapes and people. What I like most? The huge skies and the clear, clean winds out of the mountains.
