Bhang-Tiez Feature

Jana, who creates handmade macrame hemp goods in her shop Bhang-Tiez, hails from Eugene, Oregon. Her passion for this type of art started in 1996 when her grandmother gave her some old macrame magazines.

Jana describes the material she uses in her products:

Hemp (a tall, widely cultivated Asiatic herb of the mulberry family with tough bast fiber used especially for cordage) twine is my choice string as it is natural, strong & friendly to our Earth.
She started out making headbands and bracelets for people she knew, but as you can see, her collection now includes belts, water-bottle holders, plant holders and more!

Jana has offered this item for giveaway in the Handmade Gift Pack #2:

Hemp macrame bracelet with brilliant blue glass beads and lil black seed beads. Finished with a few 5 1/2-6 inch strands for tying it on, you can make a bow so it can be removed.

Length= 7.5 inches(without strands for tying)
Strands= 5 1/2-6 inches

Do you own anything made of hemp?
