and this interview:
1) How does your art practice fit in to your life?
Art is a huge part of my life. It helps me to reflect on things and express strong ideas or thoughts.
2) Where does it all come together?
2) Where does it all come together?
I have a room that I use for painting and sewing, but smaller projects seem to happen in my living room or at the kitchen table. I do a lot of writing which takes place everywhere.
3) Do you have any specific goals for you art?
My main goal is to publish more of my writing and to actually complete a novel.
4) What do you like about where you live?
I live on Vancouver Island and recently moved to a small town from the city. I love being near the ocean and being able to walk to the beach anytime I need to find some calm and inspiration. I live up on a huge hill and can see the whole town from where I am. I love that the island is full of artists and crafters. We have markets and festivals in many towns and cities selling local produce and hand crafted items. It's really great.
