Train Travel in Canada Part 2 - Chung Collection

Glimpses Along the
Canada Pacific Railway

The Chung Collection at UBC's Rare Books and Special Collections is being exhibited online now on the UBC Vault site. What is the Chung Collection? The collection has items in 3 themes: Immigration and Settlement, Early British Columbia History and my favourite - Canadian Pacific Railway Company
The Wallace B. Chung and Madeline H. Chung Collection contains more than 25,000 rare and unique items (documents, books, maps, posters, paintings, photographs, silver, glass, ceramic ware and other artifacts).
Much of the collection includes items related to Canadian Pacific Railway and its ferry and tourism branches. You can read more about Chinese Canadian history and the connection with CP Rail here.

This set of images come from the book Glimpses along the Canada Pacific Railway, and all belong to the Chung Collection and UBC Vault. Click on the titles to read more about the images and history of what has been photographed.

This one isn't in the above mentioned book.
It's from the Chung Collection's CP Rail themed area, though.
